tongues touching

CRI
I was at a club and met a girl and danced with her and we touched toungues. She tried to kiss me but I backed away. I did not see any cold sores and I have never had a cold sore (though chances are I do have HSV1 like virtually every adult) but all aside what was my risk? Wat it nil?

OK thanks for the clarification. Still, I figure I'll wait to see the 3 weeks if any blisters appear around my mouth. Then again since it was only the tips of our tongues that touched, I doubt I was exposed to much of anything. I have OCD, which is why I try not to kiss any women, as weird as that sounds.

unless you are in your 80's, it's not 90% of the population has hsv1. Once we hit our 40's, it's 60%. At your age, it's closer to 30% of folks have hsv1.

Because from what a doctor told me back in 2007 90% of the adult population has HSV1 and I've never had sex no I know I don't have HSV2. So since I'm 23 years old I'm fairly certain I'm in that %90.

this is really low risk.

if you are concerned about herpes, why not get tested to know your own status?
