Sore spot

I have noticed a one sore spot on my penis 17 days after unprotected sex. The sore spot is located at the bottom on the foreskin frenulum where is attaches to the penis shaft (not the head). It has looked the same for 36 hours. Would it be herpes or just a sore spot on my foreskin?

By sore spot are you referring to an open sore you see? Or are you talking about a spot that’s just sore such as when you touch a certain area the area feels sore to the touch?

It was a sore spot (two blood nicks next to bottom of foreskin) which disappeared after two days. I applied antiseptic cream to the area. Now there are no visual indications on my penis. It has been 23 days, is it safe to say I have not got herpes?
Doesn’t sound like it but I honestly don’t know. I had the exact same thing a couple weeks ago. Didn’t resemble anything you see or read about online, but I’m a confirmed positive for hsv2 by blood test. I had the exact same thing months ago once. Tried to get in to my doctor to get it swabbed, but doctor was out. Was curious if that one spot was considered an outbreak when it disappeared 2 days later. No pain, no itching, no burning, but I don’t know. You can get a blood test at 12 weeks t confirm. I would’ve had this years without knowing unless I got tested.
