Could this be herpes?

On July 24(Thursday) I had sex the first time with my boyfriend a day before my period. The next day i became very sore which i normally get sore after i don t have sex for a while so i didn't think nothing of it. My period decided to come in town and i ended up using a new brand of tampons. While using the female product i start feeling weird down there. I look in the mirror and i found one bump. The bump is located near my vagina whole, its a large bump(red outside, with a white top. Its painful if you touch and pee. I went to the doctor and she said it could be herpes but not quite sure since its only one bump. So she recommended i take a blood test (I have been waiting 5 days) and get started on a herpes medication.

Do you think this could be herpes?
Can you get herpes a bump a day after intercourse?

Every since she told me this I haven't been be able to sleep and i am becoming depressed. I spoke with my boyfriend about the painful bump and he explain to me he doesn't have anything and in the military they are required to test for stds but i forgot to ask if they test them for herpes as well.

. I went to the doctor a week later. She tested me (blood test) for herpes I and two. I waited a week to find me results and I tested negative.  I then had a follow up and she said she believe it had to be a tear from not being wet enough. After a total of three weeks my bump had went away. I have not been sexual active since then. My boyfriend and became sexual active on August 19 and 24. Two days later I develop this same bump again except its only painful when I touch really pressed on it, it doesn’t hurt when I wipe and it’s starting to itch a  bit. I went to get a pap smear and show my doctor the bumps that reappear again. She said everything was healthy and the bump looks like its healing. She is testing me Chlamydia and gonorrhea as well. Could this be a cyst or boil? I’m very confused about what’s going on?

If the blood came from the white bump it would not be consistant with herpes. I would think if you had an STD the doc would call you right away.

I woke up this morning and also notice a little blood. I'm not sure if that came from my bump or the other place. Do you thinking bleed from the sore is herpes? If not, do you think a pore infection can cause bleeding?

It has been 6 days  since i was tested to HSV. I called my doctor to see if she had results and the receptionist told me she has them but haven't read them yet. If I had a std someone would have called me right away correct?

Hi, what your describing would appear more of a pore infection as herpes does not have a white top. Could be from your period.
