BP running high

Just saw my doctor last week and bp was 151/95 at office. Doctor said it might be high because I was nervous being in office environment. Have brought a Omron bp monitor,and bp past couple have days still running high at 151/87 in morning and later in day at 158/99. This bp is taken just sitting around house doing nothing.
I'm on Amlodipine 10mg a day. My age is 57 and weight is 205 at 5'8

Should I tell doctor something else needs to be done? I think so.

Do you pair amlodipine with metropolol?

thanks for your post. I did go back to doctor and they added Lisinopril 5mg to my Amlodipine 10mg. Will see how that goes.

Sounds like you need a higher dosage.. I've had high bp for 11 years now and I've always taking 80mg. Works great and my bp is 120/70.
