Extreme Rabies Fear

I have developed extreme rabies fear. Please help. So for the past 3 months I've been dealing with really really bad fear of rabies. Today after I've had retrieved a tennis ball from a bush, I noticed swelling and a minute puncture wound. I've automatically thought of the possibility of it being a bite from a rabid bat and freaked out. I was at a tennis club and there some people there and I did not see any bats.

A scratch isn't a bite and bats don't reside in bushes. They are usually in high areas like trees, caves etc.
Try not to worry about this.

Now looking back, it looks more like a minor scratch than an actual "puncture". I've read everywhere that it's impossible to tell the difference between a bat bite and many other things. I'm just scared that the bat could've been hiding in the bushes and bit me without me knowing.

I don' t see any reason that this is from rabies. But how did you get the puncture wound? So you don't have to worry about rabies. I would worry about infection in general. Is the puncture wound getting better?
