Can ibs cause rapid weight loss?

I use to struggle with constipation always but started getting frequent diarrhea 2 years ago. Last year I suddenly lost weight and went from a size 32(8) to a size 30/28, so my pants were falling off (got new ones). The diarrhea become less frequent, just loose stool which smell horrible, get cramps if I dont go immediately, bloating but no abdominal pain. Few weeks ago I had diarrhea which was a bit dark, increase mucus that were bloody(bright) for a few days and assumed it is hemmorhoids.I have excess mucus with both c and d. A week ago a weighed myself and 2 days later I was almost 1 kg lighter. I do have a small body frame, I rarely have a reduce in appetite (like not wanting to eat or not able to eat much even if I was hungry).I am slightly underweight according to my bmi. I am mostely inactive and never diet. The new clothes now almost fit like gangster pants and my underware feels a bit big :-( Went to the doctor last year, he did a blood test, not sure what he tested (thyroid, diabetes) but nothing came up.I am assuming it is ibs. I do not want to go since my parents went to the doc with me, thinking my weight loss is because of my diet (I hate cheese and saturated animal fat so I dont eat it and oily food make me nauseous). However what makes me worried is that I am constantly tired, I just want to sleep mostly for the last few weeks.
