Gas or appendecitis

I have pain in my lower left and right abdomen. I am a male. I have been having this pain for around 48 hours and I don't know if it appendecitis or gas. I have discomfort above my groin area and to the left and to the right. It might be appendecitis I have nausea but that might be because I am nervous. I didn't go to the doctors yet. The pain is very dull and annoying. Is it gas or something else.
