I've been going through a similar experience...diarrhea or frequent soft stools every day for 3 months...I get gurgling, followed by a burning pain that makes its way down my intestines...it's very frustrating and scary...I've had many many tests done so far with no cause as of yet...colonoscopy, tons of blood tests, stool samples, colitis tests, celiac tests, and liver/abdominal ultrasound...I did just find out I have gallstones which the doc said may be causing this issue...so I'm going to have a full abdominal CT scan...you should see a specialist...it's probably IBS but get checked to be sure...
Medication for all the above. If you take magnesium, this helps with bowel movements. I take 1,000 MSG a day and my gastroentolergist continued me on the mag and added linzess 145 mgs a medicine designed specifically for this. I take 2 a day of the linzess. Hepatic and or splenic flexure, this is curves in your bowel, hepatic located on the right side and splenic on the left side. The top of the colon runs just below your breast bone, also around belly button. A good gastro should be able to diagnose and help you in a matter of minutes (diag) and days ( for relief). You must also change your diet even if you eat healthy. Water based fruits and veggies do not help you, they make the pain worse! IBS comes in several forms loose and constipation and flip flops back and forth. It causes much stomach pains, severe bloating etc.... You need a good gastro guy or girl! Again if they are good they will understand quickly if you explain it clearly, what it feels like, where it hurts, what makes it better and what makes it worse!!!
