Blood in my bowel

I've got a problem with my bowel, lately every time I poo there' s fresh blood dripping from my bottom and it's painful. Does anyone know about this? Please help.

Vegetables? I think I really hate those.   Guess I'll start liking those. and I'll try those Kelloggs cereals. Thanks for the help!

You want a diet that prevents you from straining to go to the bathroom. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and eat bran cereal on a daily basis. I personally find that Kelloggs Bran Buds work like magic at keeping me regular.

It's bright red blood dripping from my bottom. Understood. But do I have to go to some kind of diet?

You need to see your primary care physician.  He will need to know if this is bright red blood.  The most common cause of bright red blood is hemorrhoids.  These are caused by constipation so you can drink more water and start Metamucil.  You could take magnesium also.  You should do a sitz bath to get relief.  Keep the area clean.
