Hi! To start, Im a 27 year old woman who has had stomach problems (bad cramping, alternating constipation/diarrhea, excessive gas, etc) for the past few years. I have seen SEVERAL doctors regarding it and 2 of them told me "I think you just have some IBS issues" after all bloodwork and tests came back normal. So, normally my issues are something I just live with and chock it up to IBS. However, today I noticed went I made a bowel movement, there are orange/maybe very light red gel like chunks in the stool. I cant trace anything i ate lately to that.... nothing gel substance or orange at all... The stool is pretty loose so this is how i noticed (when i wiped, one of the chunks was on the toilet paper, then I looked in the bowl and saw quite a few more in the stool) Do you think this is just something that is associated with the IBS type issues? Or should I be worried? The orangish, light red color makes me think worry about blood... though, I dont know why it would be gel like or in clumps... so I dont think it is. Im probably just being paranoid on that. Any thoughts? any similar experiences?
