Recurrant Abdominal Pain, Child 6, All Normal/Negative Labs and Stools - Endoscopy?

Daughter, 6, has had stomach pains (near navel) for 7 weeks - came on after trip to Mexico. Active pinworm infection treated recently with Vermox to no resolve (preparing for second dose in 3 days). Labs normal. No blood in stool. Mostly regular bowel movements (seems to get some relief post b/m). Slight nausea when traveling in car. Can eat a normal meal most times fine, then will routinely post-meal complain of sore stomach (ouch, my tummy hurts - again); often has stomach pain first thing in morning. Zantac did nothing. Prilosec seems indifferent to helping. H. Pylori negative in stool and blood. Ova and parasite clear and clean. Seems that it is largely tied to a meal/snack and frequent in morning (but not always). Lactose withholding does not seem to help (can eat ice cream just fine). Negative for celiac disease (but potential to confirm via endoscopy). Pediatric Gastroenterologist wants to do an endoscopy for reflux, esophigitis, or ulcer per above. Has ruled out gall or pancreas based on labs normal. Maternal grandmother and great-grandmother have IBS and gall bladder removed. Ashkenazic Jew ancestry on monther's side. Father has mild diverticulitis. All other family members healthy - no stomach issues at present. Is endoscopy a likely diagnostic tool? Other potential issues or diagnosis? Overall thriving, active child who eats well.

Please do colonoscopy and endoscopy to rule out the sickness your family members had in past. It proven as fact that some illness get transferred genetically but might not effect first/second generation and symptoms might only be seen in third or fourth all other way around. Colonoscopy will rule out worms, parasites and other bacterias.Endoscopy will rule out obstructions, gallbladder problems, reflux disease. Only then the doctor will give diagnose of IBS , although IBS isn't common in young kids
