Concerns of blood work and understanding results.

Can you shed any light on the below results?  I am so scared that I may actually be in the early stages of cirrhosis.  My platelet count has been below 129 for more than a year now, but no mention of enlarged spleen.  Also during this time my red blood cell, white blood cell and hemoglobin have been decreasing.  I know I have posted the question about the fibrosis before, but I do not understand where they say the gallbladder is contracted, what does this mean?  And also don't understand about the bladder not being distended.  My sister has interstatial cystitis and I am wondering if that is why the bladder is not distended.

DIAGNOSIS:
LIVER, NEEDLE CORE BIOPSY:
Moderate steatosis with mild steatohepatitis
Grade 3 fibrosis

COMMENT:
Iron stain shows no increase in stainable iron. PAS stain shows no diastase
resistant globules in the cytoplasm. Trichrome stain highlights fibrosis
present. There is focal nodule formation although there is not frank cirrhosis.
There is Mallory hyaline present.

As part of our Quality Assurance Program, an additional pathologist (PSB) has
reviewed the case and concurs.

Your data consistently pointed to a fatty liver but not cirrhosis. As for the not being distended or contracted comments, it's the simple descriptions that the radiologist uses to describe the current state of the gallbladder and urinary bladder. Typically we're not suppose to eat or drink for 6 hours before the CT or MRI scans - this is to make our gallbladder fillup with bile to it's in a non-contracted or distended state. But if we even simply think of a cookie, we can cause it to fire off and flex down into it's contracted state, which it does everytime we eat something to aid in digestion.
