Its been some time since your post, but have you considered kidney stones?
Also, if its your Bilirubins that are high, sometimes people of Mediteranian lineage have higher counts naturally---this inclues Turkey, North Africa, Italy, Yugoslavia, etc...
Hi, Frequently gallbladder pain is only in the back. Usually if pain occurrs after eating it is galblader. Do you notice if you eat fatty/fried foods that the pain is worse? Gallbladder runs in our family. Ulcers can also cause pain in the same area. Highe lipids (Chloresteral) can mean so many things. I also know that pancreatitis can cause right rib pain radiating to the back and can be described as dull achiness with sharp pains. Food can also contribute to the increase in pain. Yellow/ light colored stools can occur with any body organ around digestionie: gallbladder, pancrease, common bile duct. Not trying to gross you out but if there are fat gobulerols floating on top of stoold that usually indicates your body not processing fat properly. Despite what may or may not be causing it I would suggest seeing you dr. if you can.
