Cause for reddish, aching hands?

Greetings, Gang o' Lymies --

Does anyone know the physical/biochemical reason for my hands (and to a lesser extent, my feet) feeling very slightly swollen, aching, and reddish-pink from time to time?

My hands also hurt a bit when I grip something hard and let go (like a key or a spoon) -- there's dent left in my skin that takes a few minutes to fluff back out.  Didn't used to happen, but maybe I was just SO sick before that I didn't notice or have forgotten.

It's pretty clear I got tick-bit (again) and am waiting patiently to see my LLMD to begin this circus all over again --

Hope everyone is doing okay today --

Your pal,  J.

I get the red hands and feet too.  Mine is from vascular spasms.  The dilation causes them to be red and hot.  I also get vascular constriction when it is cool and then they turn white or blue.  Mine is actually Raynaud's.  I never had it until I got sick.

Hey, thank you both for the kind words!  It really does help, as you know.  I'm at the point where I sit back and watch the symptoms roll.  I get scared sometimes, but not like I used to.

I live across the street from a park, and around June (?) I went over a few times and sat on a towel on the grass, enjoying the sun.

*Big Mistake.*

I must have picked up a tick over there (there are about a billion dogs who think the park is their personal playground), but I didn't see the bite or the tick till July, because it had bit me on the back of my thigh.  Sigh!  The bug was so embedded I had a hard time getting it out, but that means I have EVIDENCE of a tick bite!!!  The bug was long since dead, I think, and it now lives in a plastic baggie which will go with me to the LLMD in about 2 weeks.

So now I am having the interesting experience of watching myself get Lyme symptoms, and knowing this time what it is.  Yesterday morning, I woke up yelling because my calf muscle had a spasm in it -- ouch!  So I'm supplementing magnesium again, since the Lyme bugs vacuum the stuff up to reproduce.

What a dirty trick, to get Lyme AGAIN!  Wish me luck!!

I thnk with lyme anything is possible again.

Just watch your latest symptom. With me something flares up, and then it goes away as suddenly as it began.

Could you be allergic to some med that could cause that reaction?

OMG~
I can't imagine being bit again. Where do you live?

I hope all goes well. IF you need us,,,just yell.
