Those can be lyme symptoms. Have you been evaluated by a doctor for these symptoms?
I agree with patsy10 - your symptoms could be from the tick-bite - if I were you I would locate an LLMD.[lyme literate doctor] - as many 'main stream' docs. are not very knowledgeable about lyme disease - other than the treatment/symptoms of initial infection.
not having a 'bulls-eye rash' doesn't mean you haven't been infected - lyme symptoms can be so varied from person to person

I was diagnosed with lyme disease in January and treated with 28 days of doxicycline, felt really good for about 2weeks now I have the same knee joint pain and the frontal thight pain pretty consistantly, and if i sit for any amount of time my whole lower body goes stiff. My Dr is very up on lyme and chronic lyme diseae and after another cbc and aldonese test has suggested a rheumatologist, I am really getting fustrated with the chronic pain and it is severly interferring with my life, my job and my future
Would you be willing to start a new question? More people would be likely to see it than would see this old thread. I'll go ahead and offer my first reaction...
I am sorry to hear you're still sick. You are probably one of the many treatment failures of the IDSA's 28 day protocol. You need to find an LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctor) as soon as possible if you want to avoid developing a more serious Lyme infection.
Where do you live? How long did you have symptoms before you were diagnosed?
If your doctor doesn't recognize that you are still infected, then he really isn't up on Lyme at all. There is a big split in the Medical community regarding Lyme. Doctors affiliated with ILADS understand the disease for what it is, a stubborn infection that is more sophisticated and complicated than just about every other bacteria we know of.
Hear hear to all Ricobord said. I agree that you probaly need a good Lyme doc, not a rehumatologist.
