Hello --
Although this medhelp website we are on now does not permit posting of links to other websites, if you will google or otherwise search the word 'canlyme', you will find a website about Lyme disease in Canada, from the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation.
The site has lots of links and contacts and sources of information and treatment -- it's very well developed, and even if you don't find Manitoba mentioned specifically, connect with some of the people on the website and I bet they can send you in the right direction.
If you have Lyme, then you have just now taken the first step toward getting rid of it -- it's a long journey for many of us, but it is very worthwhile to get our lives back.
Best wishes to you, let us know how it's going. You're not alone.
Welcome. I'm sorry you are going through this but I know how you feel. I've had problems since 1992 after bullseye rashes.
The blood test usually comes back negative, especially if it was the ELISA.
I am not familiar with any doctors in your area. My friend in Canada is treated here in the US. She is close to the border though. This question was asked recently by another member from Canada. Maybe she has found some more info.
