Thank you for you advice and support. I have been having the syptoms for over 10 months now. Just started going to the doctors about a month ago. I kept convincing myself it was nothing and it would go away on its own. It didn't and only got worse.
I go back to my Family Doctor in two weeks. I will mention Lyme to him and see what he has to say.
Thanks to all!
I have same symptoms as you and more......found out I had Lyme Disease in me for what could be 8 yrs! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 5 yrs ago. Find yourself a good Infectious Disease Doctor in your area. Good luck.
Well I did have testing for lyme through Igenex only 34 came back ++ and 41 and another was IND...
My story is very similar to yours. Ask your doctor to "humor you" and run a lyme test. Ask for a hard copy of the results, even if they come back "negative." I had an equivocal test, meaning lyme couldn't be ruled out, and then two more negative tests before I was diagnosed by a lab that actually knew how to read the tests accurately. Keep pushing for a diagnosis, because if it is lyme, then the longer that you have it, the more difficult it is to get rid of it.
I have fleeting pains all over too...it will hit my ankle for a few minutes then an hour later hit a random finger. Its been going on 5 months for me, I also have a ton of other symptoms. I have had an MRI etc etc tons of tests and just got tested for co infections. I think for me I have boiled it down to possible lyme, ms or issues from my c spine stenosis. My pains feel like toothache bone crushing pains> I literally just woke up one day to all of this jumping around my body
Ask for the Lyme test from this doctor or switch to someone else. If you have the Lyme antibody or positive elisa titers, you will at least know what you are dealing with.
Unfortunately, the diagnosis must be clinical because the tests are unreliable. So, if you think you may have Lyme and everything else is ruled out first, see a Lyme doctor.
Also, conventional doctors won't treat Lyme disease because of some weird CDC recommendation or whatever. Anyways, most don't know what to do, or if they do, they won't do it because there's no honor in being called a "Lyme doc".
They are lyme symptoms. but they could be from something else too. canlyme .com has a very good symptoms list you may want to read over.
