Which party RED or BLUE will do the most for Lyme?

Just wondering what anyone's thoughts are on this.

I posted a comment on Bruce's post along these lines.

Bush had the disease a couple years ago. His treatment I believe remains a secret although I recall he got treated with six months of antibiotics.

Not to get into politics, but just wondering!?!

I agree. The country (the world really) is still looking for rock bottom.  Hopefully we can find it soon and try to get back to business as normal.

Don't know where to get treatment if I can't pay let alone deduct the expenses from my taxes, which doesn't really help me that much as I'm out 5 grand.

Oh well. Maybe someone can turn it around after they get in office. Like KStuff am leaning towards a "right" to healthcare. Lyme is confusing enough as it is!

I would have to guess neither with all the things going on today.

I can't see how McCain's $5,000 tax credit would help anyone with lyme disease.  The credit never shows up in your pocket back, it goes directly toward purchasing an insurance policy of your choice.  That statement is just laughable, considering IV antibiotic treatment can cost upwards of $4,000 a month. At least Obama sees health coverage as a right, not a "personal responsiblity."  People suffering from Lyme have enough responsibilities, including diagnosing yourself, convincing a doctor to treat you and begging your insurance company to pay for it. They don't need more responsibilities, they need real, actual help.  I say Obama is the only hope in this regard.
