battle with my doctor~HMO

Well todaywent to see the primary and of course won't pay for the meds since they use docy to treat lyme. Imagine that.

However, they did fill one prescription and agreed to pay for labs.

I did get some help from JackieCalifornia about where to find good prices for needed meds.

I was so stressed that I couldn't sleep last night wondering how I would pay for this part of the treatment.

Anyone else have troubles with the prmary regarding paying for meds? JKV44

My primary would never do it. I would not even ask her.  I think for many the primary doc is out of the question.

Doxycycline is actually used for Lyme by some drs.  If they will give it to you, you might take it and ask your LLMD if s/he will use it in treatment.

There is no one single drug that works for everyone or all the time -- many of us go through drug rotations or phases because the bug is tricky and difficult to eradicate.
