I'm laughing here because that TLC show can really put some minds to work, can't it?
First of all, pregnancy tests are 97 to 99% accurate but, if in doubt, do one more. I highly doubt that you are pregnant (don't forget that most women on TLC's show do not think that they are pregnant and therefore, do NOT do a pregnancy test *smile*).
It's more likely that your hormones are flipping and flopping here and there and the birth control pill that you are using may need to be changed due to your differing hormone levels (vs. when you first started taking them).
Talk to your doc about it and perhaps, she/he will want to change your pill and see if that adjusts it better. There are pills that are higher and lower in estrogen and progesterone etc. as I'm sure that you know so, a change of pill might be what you need.
Update us.
Thanks for your logic, it's easy to get carried away watching some of those shows! I did do another pregnancy test and it was also negative. I never thought of switching bc pills, that makes sense, I'll ask my doctor about it when I see him in Sept. Thank you for your advice, I appreciate it!
Just wanted to give you an update. My GYN ordered an MRI for me and the results showed a condition called Adenomyosis and has recommended a partial hysterectomy which he is going to do laproscropically. Has anyone had a laproscropic partial? Is it an out patient procedure? He said it wouldn't be any worse than when I had my gallbladder removed (also laproscopically).
