Slurred speech, voice change

I am a 43 women with and I sudden change in my speech. My voice has gotten slightly deeper at times and my speech is significantly slurred now. I went to see my dentist because I thought it had something to do with the gaps in the lower part of my teeth that I have had sense I've had teeth. My dentist said she thought it was a hormonal change. I also noticed that my tongue is very sensitive to my teeth now. I do have other Peri-menapause symptoms but these, if they are that are extreme. I can't talk very well at all. I have tried to focus on my speech but it fails. I really need help. I am having trouble at work and communicating. My job is as a communicator and this hit me suddenly. I don't know what to do.
