Left Ventricle thickening (heart)

Hi today I seen my cardiologist to follow up on my tests that were done (echocardiogram). I'm 22 years old, male, normal weight, 6'2, and I've been active my whole life in sports. I have hypertension and today I went in for my visit my blood pressure was 164/88. I got my results back he told me all was good but I have a thickened left ventricle in my heart (not sure how serious or what that means ok scared to be honest) I'm wondering if someone could please tell me how dangerous this is I don't even want to exercise because of it. I'm currently on Losartan 100mg/hctz 25mg and today they added another medicine it's an alpha blocker. Please help god bless!
