New, dark veins on surface of scrotum and loss of morning erections

Hi there, i have new dark, thick veins on the surface of my scrotum. My scrotum also seems to become more red as the day progresses. This all started about a week and a half ago. I do have a varicocele on the left side of my scrotum but these new veins are different. About a week and a half ago i had about 4 or 5 sharp pains in my scrotum. I had mild discomfort in my scrotum until yesterday and almost had a bloated feeling in my lower abdomen. My morning erections also stopped about three days ago which is very rare. I was wondering if there is some correlation between these new veins and the disappearance of the morning erections. I do have a doctor's appointment scheduled for this Friday but i wanted to make sure it wasn't something more serious. I also have noticed a different sensation while urinating. It takes me longer to begin to urinate maybe about 10 seconds longer or so. Thanks

Please keep us informed with what you learn from the office visit. Maybe a warm cloth a couple of times a day to see if that makes a difference. Go Bengals!
