Pain on the joint of penis shaft and penis head. Anything to worry about?

I have a habit of sleeping on me chest. One day I woke up and felt pain on the left side of my penis where the head and the shaft of the penis meet. It only really hurts when I apply any pressure to that part of the penis, when I contract, or during erections when I apply any pressure on that area. Urination and ejaculations are painless and normal, nothing unusual about that.

I consulted my General Family Physician, he said if there is nothing wrong during urinations, then I should ignore it and it should get better. I've given it some 4-5 days. Perhaps I'll give it a few more days but I would like to know if I should be worried. I feel maybe I might've put pressure on it in my sleep and maybe hurt some tissue? Not sure. The GP says if theres no pain in urinating, I shouldn't worry, or get it shown to a urologist. Any suggestions? No signs or symptoms of growth in the pain, it is a tingling sensation and when pressure applied, quite painful.
