Foreskin doesn't retract after frenuloplasty

16 days ago I had a frenuloplasty. After coming home the tip of the foreskin was extremely painful (not sure why the pain should be there) and I bled a tonne until about day 8. The second day after I came home I tried to retract the foreskin to wash it but it wouldn't budge at all which I put down to swelling. I thought I'd leave it two weeks to heal, but still the foreskin seems as if it's glued or sewn to the head of my penis. Previously I could retract it to the bottom of the head albeit with discomfort, now I can only just about expose the pee hole. There also seems to be stitches on the inside of the foreskin at the top and a little lump just inside the foreskin. These stitches seem to be a bit to the side of where the frenulum would be.

What could be going on? My GP only knows it doesn't look infected, and the surgeon left no contact details.

Were you given any cleaning instructions? My surgeon gave detailed info (sorry) I can't recall. I remember scrubbing the surgery paste off  the head of the penis, it's possible this paste is acting as a glue - try bathing your friend in salt and warm water to loosen the foreskin. The stitches should start to fallout over the 2weeks hang in there.

Before the surgery I was just told to 'keep it clean' afterwards. Then a few hours of waiting to see if the bleeding had stopped the nurses just told me I could go. No, discharge letter or any instructions. I suppose it's possible iodine might be stuck inside the foreskin, but it looks and feels more like the foreskin has been cut and made tighter. Like the head of the penis wouldn't actually get through it now. Hopefully this will resolve itself when the stitches fully dissolve. Thanks.
