Testicle, leg and back pain

Hi, okay I'm going to try to make this short as possible. I am 25yrs. old and happily married with 2 children. I've had for over a year pain in my right testicle, sometimes it will not bother me for weeks, then it may hurt me for a few days or off and on for a week or so. Also, I noticed that my lower back bothers me a lot and my right leg down to me knee hurt or aches also. My back feels like it needs popping all the time, I will twist and stretch to pop it, but it still bothers me. But the testicle is the big killer. Sometimes it will hurt so bad I can't even mow the yard or walk very good. I went to my family doc. he put me on anti biotics for possible testicle infection. No luck, didn't help. So he sent me to a urologist. The guys squeezed the testicle, (made it hurt worse), said he could feel me epdymis on the right testicle was swollen and kinda hard. It was probably squeezing the testicle and causing the pain. So gave me antibiotics for 20days. No better, so he gave me more. Seemed to get better, then bam, same thing weeks later, so he sent me for ultrasound of testicle. Nothing negative at all. Everything fine. Of course th day I had ultrasound, I wasn't hurting really. Somedays, it will just be kind of a dull ache/pain in the testicle. I've been living with it over year now. My family doc. also did say since I had a hernia about 5 years ago that it could be possibly be scar tissue pulling on the epdymis and nerves etc to that testicle. Urologist looked at me like I was stupid when I said that. Anyways, not sure if this is true, but I'm not real active far as sports much anymore. Work in an office, so mainly walking and sitting is about all I do, or riding the lawn mower. But few times I did play some raquetball and basketball it seemed to not bother me really at all for quite a few weeks. Again not sure if that is anything though. Also, debated whether to try a chiropractor, thought possibly a nerve problem or sciatic nerve. Just guessing. If it came down to it, I wouldn't mind if I had to loose the right testicle if it got rid completely of problem, but don't want to have any surgeries at all. Not sure how bad a surgery like that would be for one. Also, thought what if I had a vacetomy on the one testicle. Not sure if they cut the epdymis or something when they do a vacetomy. Aanyways, so hopefully someone can give me some advice whether to do some kind of exercises or whether to try a chiropractor or go to a different urologists? Thanks for anything.

Hi,
Happy New Year to you. From your account, it appears more to do with your back, as the nerves to these areas are rited through this region of the  spinal column. It is also a very common complaint with many office going people. Apart from regular moderate exercise, you can also apply some muscle relaxing ointment to the area, lightly massage for about few minutes, and then either apply heat from a hot water bag or do sitz bath in lukewarm water.Since the testes should not be exposed to higher temperature, the temperature of the sitz bath should be moderate, where as with hot water bag applied to the lower back you can apply higher temperature and you get better benefit. But sitz bath relaxes the whole area and has its own advantage. Also daily relaxing for few minutes by lying on the back on a flat hard surface will greatly help you to solve the problem. You can also take long breathing exercise in this position.
Be careful to go to chiropractors, unless they are qualified, as blind massaging can some times make small injuries more serious. You can try if you want a qualified physiotherapist.

Will try it. I'm going to try playing racquet ball again and see how that works. I don't sit all day. But I probably could sit up better and if exercise does the job to, I guess that's a sign of how important exercise is. Also I didn't tell you, but 99.9% of the days that I do hurt and all, I always wake up feeling fine. If I have a real bad day of hurting, I can usually go home, lay flat on the couch for a couple hours and help the pain. Well the testicle and lower abdomen pain. But a good 7-8hrs sleep and I usually don't hurt in the mornings. Pretty weird.

Hi,
Most likely, your problem is related to long hours of sitting in the office. If this is the case,  do break the monotony by changing the sitting pose and moving around a bit within the scope of your job. Daily do a few minutes of jogging / walking to allow blood circulation to all body parts. Daily Sits bath in lukewarm water  will be beneficial. Also deep breathing foe a few minutes will provide more oxygen to vital body parts.
