cant eat or drink w/o vomiting

My husbands 45 and for the last 2 weeks he has been vomiting after he eats and drinks. he cant hold anything down. he's lost 20 lbs also. what could it be?

HI, Is there blood in the vomit ? it will look like coffee grounds , does he drink ! possibly an esofagus tear if there is blood in vomit either way solace 21 is clearly correct ! the procedure is quite painless

   He should immediately see a Gastroenterologist and get the problem diagnosed.
