Hi,

Thanks for your post.
It is quite possible that your symptoms are due to cluster headache. Cluster headaches and migraines can co exist.
Cluster headaches are episodic headaches; one sided accompanied with eye symptoms like watering, red eyes and swelling.
Other possibility is sinusitis. Sinusitis can cause headaches, pain and watering in the eyes.
An ENT exam will definitely help.

Your symptom pattern (with the eye specialist finding 'nothing wrong') makes one think of SUNCT syndrome > Shortlasting Unilateral Neuralgiform pain with Conjunctival injection and Tearing< (Why this long name? Ans: Because, this describes the headache and probably that is all what the medical science knows about it, at present)

This is a particularly rare type of headache and hence not all doctors may be aware of this.

Another possibility I can think of now is Cluster Headache, but that is more common in males.

Difficult to say anything further without seeing you.

As you can't afford a CT now, why not consult an ENT too, to see if there is anything related to the symptoms in the nose. (Or is this also as costly?)

Hope this helps. Feel free to write. Pls get back to the forum with the doctor's opinion.

Best rgds,

Thomas Antony
