hi there..glad you're doing fine!
my husband didn't have the usual stroke symptoms- he got dizziness and funny vision. anyway-just mention to someone. all the best. :)
Hope your Husband is ok. The thing that concerened me most was feeling and hearing a pop in my head and the black out thing. It was really weird. I wonder what it could have been. I didn't had any of the typical stroke symptoms like slurrred speach or weakeness on one side. But I will talk to my Dr about it.
I am doing fine, it has been a little over a week now and I haven't had this reccur. But I have had a few headaches (not severe) over this last week. I am in week 27 and have had very few headaches with this pregnancy, until recently. I have had a few spells of dizziness, most were early in the pregnancy though, and I was on Zofran, which seemed to make the dizziness worse. I just went to my prenatal visit and didn't have the opportunity to discuss this with the Dr because he had to rush off to a delivery. All I really got from that appointment was that I had a trace of protien in my urine, which is a first for any of my pregnancies and I am not even sure what that means. I am expecting a call on test result this week so I will mention it to the nurse and see if they want me to come in again. Thanks for you help.
Hi there..don't wait for your next appointment. Call your medical centre and nurse and describe your episode. my husband had a massive stroke and his symptoms were ignored.
Hi,
How are you? What other symptoms are present? Pregnancy and the changing hormones may cause pregnancy-related symptoms like dizziness, migraine and gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea or vomiting especially during the first months of pregnancy. It would be best to discuss this with your doctor on your next prenatal consult. Take care and do keep us posted.
