headaches can be caused an epidural or spinal. After I had my 2nd daughter I had SEVERE migraines for months afterwards & was told it was a risk with the epidural. Migraines respond well to ice packs on the back of ur neck (usually around the base of your skull), COMPLETE darkness & complete quiet, migraine meds or Tylenol migraine, put ur feet up & keep all strong smells away.
I've suffered from migraines most of my life, but the ones I had after delivery were the worst that I had ever felt.
As for the upper back pain I would imagine it could be caused by the csection as well. I've delivered ALL of my kids vaginally so not sure what a csection would or would not do but I would imagine it could cause some back pain.
Hope this has helped a little bit at least

thank u so much for taking your time to respond to me :) I had an emergency c section. she had been loosing weight in the womb and the cord was wrapped around her kneck. The specialist I saw did a MRI and they found the ruptured disc in the lumbar region of my back, but he said that had nothing to do with the upper back pain or headaches. What kind of things could a neurologist do for me? I have never seen one before. Thank you so much for your time and I hope you have a great weekend :)
Hi,
How are you? Did you have a normal delivery or anesthesia was used? I'm sorry to hear what you have been through for the last months. The headaches and migraines may be associated with hormone changes. Migraine usually respond well to rest, ice pack and prescription medications. The pain in the upper back may warrant further evaluation such as imaging studies like CT scan or MRI. You may also benefit from evaluation by a neurologist for proper diagnosis. Take care and do keep us posted.
