Swooshing sound in ears, headaches, vision blurriness, light head

I’ve have successfully stumped the doctors now for 6 months, I suddenly developed strange symptoms out of the blue for no apparent reason. If I sit for any amount of time 45 min to an hour I will start to simultaneously develop a tight debilitating headache that originates at the base of my scull and proceeds to the rest of my head, also a whooshing sound in my ears that corresponds with the timing of my pulse (painless but ears feel slightly warm when happening). If I do not correct the problem by standing up the headache gets worse and eventually causes vision problems, (light sensitive and difficulty focusing with an emeses amount of pressure behind eyes).  I also feel light headed and sometimes even dizzy, a few times it’s been really bad and caused nausea and double vision. My back will feel tight only when symptoms are occurring, specifically under right shoulder blade. Otherwise my back is fine and I can bend over and touch my toes no problem. If I am able to stand up the symptoms dissipate in around 5 to 10 min. I am able to control these symptoms and cause them to happen by arching my back or by bending my neck in any extreme direction, more so to the left and right than up and down. I can also cause them to dissipate completely by standing up or slouching deeply in chair. The symptoms do not happen when lying down unless purposely provoked by arching back or bending neck. Seems to be in my back or neck, but what in my back or neck would cause these head troubles? I test by blood pressure when the symptoms occur and it is always slightly elevated 144/87 (sometimes higher) from normal of 120/80. I now have a clean MRI, good looking back x-rays, excellent ophthalmologist eye exam, clean 24 hr urine test, a baffled neurologist and a frustrated doctor. The chiropractor has been making small back adjustments that at times seem like they might be helping but I can’t really tell. I would like to know if anyone else has had these problems; it seems people have similar symptoms but never the same.

I know this is old but I am having very similar symptoms. Any luck on what may have caused it? I get a very bad pressure sensation when I arch my back.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Were you able to see an ENT or ear specialist? Ear pain or otalgia could be due to primary or secondary causes. Primary otalgia may be caused by diseases in the external, middle, or inner ear including trauma, foreign body, mechanical or inflammatory issues. On the other hand, secondary otalgia may be due to referred pain. Further evaluation may need to be done to determine the underlying cause. Take care and do keep us posted.

I first had this symptom about 5 years ago. Speaking generally we befriended a couple, she had  a really loud voice, a few times she shouted to her children, but my ears were in the way! I mean she yelled and my ears hurt.  I always had a keen sense of hearing, now I have a white noise earpiece as my hearing was damaged by her. I also have a "whoosing noise" feeling when I turn my head. It hurt when she shouted, but beware Do not think You r immune my hearing is damaged for life.

I will try to make sure your post stays up towards the top. Hopefully someone has been through something like this before and can help you out. Honestly, I have no clue what it could be other than a circulatory problem. I hope the best for you.

I continually try to pin point a reason for my problems but always come up with nothing. I was not and am still not on any med's. It started out of the blue in Aug last summer at work, the same work i have been doing for years. I'm not a stressed out person, and have not made any major changes lately. the only thing that helps is to stand, slouch or lay down, sitting is hard to do for any amount of time, and my job requires me to sit for long periods. Changing the angle of my spine seems to determine if i will have problems or not, but no doctor was able to find anything wrong with my back or neck. I have gained a little weight because I'm not able to do anything very labor intensive without feeling like my head is going to explode, but I'm still in a healthy weight range, 180lbs 5'9. And this is a result of my problems not a precursor to them.

As with the last person I replied to, what you should do is answer the following questions.

When did this start happening? What was going on in your life when it started happening? What were you taking before, and during when this started happening? Are there any changes in your diet, sleep, and or exercise? Are there any other things happening to you mentally, physically, emotionally, or sexually? Is there anything that makes you feel better and if so, what is it, and why do you think it makes you feel better?

I know you have answered a couple of these, but please elaborate. For example you have said what makes you feel better, but think of why. After answering these questions, I might be able to help.
