Another differential that involves eye symptoms is a cluster headache. This is more common in men than women during adolescence and middle age. The cause is unknown but can be genetic in nature. It is also associated with smoking, intake of alcohol, bright light, stress, or certain foods. The pain usually occurs on one side of the head and described as burning, sharp or steady. The pain may occur in and around one eye and may involve one side of the face from neck to temples. Tests, such as an MRI of the head, may be needed to rule out other causes for the headaches. And the goal of treatment is to relieve symptoms.
Hi,
How are you? It is good that your eyes are fine. Some headaches can be due to problems with the eyes. Pain at the back of head or neck that intensifies on movement can be caused by inflammation of the blood vessels of the head or bony changes in the structures of the neck. Anti-inflammatory drugs or muscle relaxants usually help. But the best solution to this is proper posture. If it persists, a consultation to your doctor is indeed a good idea for further evaluation. Take care and do keep us posted.
