I am fifteen years and counting into all of this..lol
Treating migraines is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time to find the right meds...the right COMBO of meds....and even then, it usually works for a limited time and is time to change something.
Migraines can fluctuate. You will have flare ups then times when it is calm.
I went for a full year where I was lucky to have 2 days per month without a migraine. Now, since this past Oct I have actually been going 2-3 days without a migraine. It has been wonderful.
Have patience. Good luck.
Hi, yeah I must have forgotten that, I have been to an ENT they couldn't find anything wrong, so they said it was a vertigo migraine and sent me to a headache specialist. But I've been going for about a year and none of the stuff that is supposed to work is working.
Hi and welcome to the Migraines & Headaches Community.
Have you seen a specialist? There are some things that a regular MD just does not do. You didn't mention headaches so, I am thinking something to do with your inner ear....I think seeing an ENT (ear, nose, throat) doctor would be a good idea.
Good luck and keep us posted.
