Migraine aura?

I dont really know how to describe my experience, but below is a post i made shortly after having had it. Sorry but its so very difficult to explain it was so werid so i may have babbled a bit. Plus im still not feeling entirely right after it but here is the post anyway:

Ok so im sat listening to a song on youtube, a song ive listened to hundreds of times and know well. Anyway im singing along to it in my head whilst its playing, i click on another page i have open to click on the edit button and the next thing i know the song has jumped from the first chorus right to the end of the song. What happened to the second verse and the muscial interlude that should have been there? Its hard to explain so bear with me, but it was odd because it jumping from the first chorus to the end of the song seemed like one continuous event. Ie it didnt feel like i had drifted off and missed it, and i know it couldnt have taken me that long to click on another page and scroll down to an edit button. I was sat there just about to sing the second verse to myself when i realised the song was finishing.

I know the song well and ive seen that video before so i know its not a glitch in the video or anything. Im sure i didnt get distracted, as as i said it seemed like it was on continous event, im not aware of missing time but there has to be because i know the sequence of the song and parts of it were missing.

What the hell happened to the middle of the song?

Admittedly i was feeling a little strange and disconnected from myself (not out of my body but disconnected - again its hard to explain it was the oddest feeling) for a few seconds before i realised part of the song was missing, but hell, it was weird and it was creepy and its not the first time strangs stuff like that has happened to me.

Back on christmas day i was looking out of the window watching a man pull up on a neighbours driveway and take presents out of his car when i had a strange sense of deja vu that time that and briefly looked away from the window to shake it off and look at my stitching. What i thought was a split second later i looked back out of hte window again and the car had gone, completely. There is no way in the time i thought i was shaking off the deja vu and lookign at my stitching that the dude could have delivered his presents, shut his car doors (both of them were open) and pulled away. I assumed i had just been longer looking at my stitching than i thought and although i ponder what heck happened sometimes (it had the strange eery feeling the experience i just had did) i shook it off as a one off glitch or something.

But its happened again (minus the deja vu as this time as i said i just felt strangely odd and disconnected from myself or a couple of seconds instead) and now its starting to worry me.

Parts of songs you know well dont just go missing and cars on driveways dont just vanish.

Should i mention this to my dr, i dont want him to think im going mad, but hell something doesnt feel right. The experiences just felt so strange, so strange that they are almost impossible to describe. Ok its only happened twice, but twice brrrrrrrrrrr. Im beging to feel like my brain isnt working properly or something.

Both experiences temporarily confused and disorientated me after they happened and now i have a splitting headache coming on

-----

Anyway as i said i now have a splitting headache which seems to mostly be on teh left hand side, on teh left hand side of my face and at teh back of my head just going into the neck area. Im also getting some mild numbness on that side of my face (i can move everything but it feels like anathestic wearing off after giong to the dentists and like the sensation in the skin hasnt come back to normal yet. There is also some tinlging along with the slightly numb feeling). I still dont feel like my brain is all there.

Also ive had a cold and bronchitis recently so could it be some kind of weird combination of migraine aura and that?

Any advice appreciated.

Hi,

This sounds perplexing. I understand you are highly anxious about this .

I just have a few questions:

How old are you?

When did your symptoms start? Which came first, your headaches or these "disconnected" experiences?

Are you currently taking any medications?

Do you have any underlying systemic disease like cardiac problems, thyroid problems, diabetes and hypertension?

Any increase in levels of stress lately brought about by changes at home or at work?

Your symptoms may have to be further evaluated. Psychological and organic factors need to be ruled out first. I just need to have some points clarified.I will appreciate your answering my questions.
