migraine that leaves numbness in right side of face upto a week after headache has gone
I have been suffering with severe migraines with aura (blurred vision in right eye, numbness in right side of face upto a week after headache has gone)
I was informed last week the a blood test I had 2 years ago showed antiphospholipid antibodies (mine were 28 and was told they should be between 0 and 19) I have been told to take asprin each day and 30mg amitriptyline. I am trying to find out if this is hereditary and is it something I have always had or something that has just happened? Also after taking the amitriptyline my headache is now a feeling of pressure in the right side of head and in nape of neck what is causing this?

the pressure in my neck and right side of head.omg, go see ur doc and let him or her know that the feeling, that what I did , and know he's making me try topamax for 3 month to see how it works. for me it works well the only side effects is acne and upset,and i'm losing some weight that all its 25 mg it make me go to the bathroom at least 3 time a day for bowel movement that my side effect.And i eat my fresh fruits very morning,protein,vegetables irons calcuim etc.no hair loss with topamax.
