Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
The most common side effects observed with Sibelium are weight gain and drowsiness. The incidence of these side effects decreases after one month.
The safety and efficacy data on sibelium for longer than 4 month use is not available. Please discuss this issue with your father’s treating doctor and let us know if you need any other information.
Take care!

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Sibelium is a selective calcium antagonist which helps to reduce frequency and severity of attacks of migraine.
Since it is a prophylactic treatment for migraine headache, it is possible that missing a dose results in headache which can progress to a full blown migraine.
The main side effects of sibelium are drowsiness, muscle aches and pains, weight gain, depression, heart burn, anxiety, insomnia and dizziness. Please remember that these side effects do not occur in everyone taking Sibelium and the intensity of side effects also varies from person to person.
Take care!
If this is a prescription drug, you could check with the pharmacist who issued the drug. There are Web sites that will explain a drug's side effects, such as the one from the Mayo Clinic, if you want to research the drug on the Internet.
