Usually they say to wait 1 or 2 periods because it can cut down on your chance or tubular pregnancies and it will also make sure you are ovulating normally again.
Thanks for your story.
We actually started taking prenatal vitamins shortly after our m/c. Along with using the opk about a week later. We ovulated on the 14th && 15th. So right now we're playing the waiting game in hopes of being pg before my period.
I also started having slight pains in my lower abdominal area and lower back today. I'm not sure what its from though.
But my first pregnancy with my daughter went great, with absolutely no complications. So when we miscarried I was really shocked, never really thought it would happen to me. And now I'm afraid of it happening again now that I've already had one. But in high hopes that our next pregnancy goes a lot better and that we have no complications.
Sorry for the errors typing this from my phone!
I will tell u my story hope it helps. I had a m/c at 8w5d. Had to wait 3 months after that to try again. Long story short lots of complications had to have 2 d&cs. Got pg immediately after the 3 cycle wait. Had another m/c at 5w3d. Then exactly 11 days after my 2nd m/c I ovulated and got pg. Was able to carry that pg to term and had a beautiful son. When he was 10 1/2 months got pg again and carried to term another gorgeous little boy. The only explanation I got for my m/c was low progesterone and even with my successfully pregnancies it was still low and I had to take progesterone supplements. My boys r now 9 and 7 and we also have a 6 month old baby girl. It to us a little over a year to conceive her but it was not progesterone related this time, mostly because of my age. I would start taking a prenatal vitamin now along with a folic acid supplement and use opks to help know if and when u ovulate. Some people do bbt charting but I never did that. You can also check cervical position and cervical fluids to predict ovulation as well.(I know Ami right?!) Most drs want u to wait at least one cycle but it's mainly so they can date the pregnancy. Good luck to u.
