i got miscarrige a year back,still i am not getting pregnant why?

hi i got married on march 13 2009 as april first week i got periods i dint mind anything but even after periods i got spotting still April last week by april last week i had very bad pain.On april 30th  went to doctor they ask to take scan and we found it is an ectopic pregnancy and got ruptured and undergone open surgery on the same day.after surgery doc aaaadviced to be creful for 6 months.after 6 months we went for asking about planning pregnancy.as per doc advice we took some test and found i am not immune so did rubella vaccination.again for 3 had safer sex.in the next visit doc said u can try for baby.now 5 months gone but i am not getting pregnant again.very much confused and wexed.wont i get preg again? did my tubes gone inactive? or anything wrong with my hubby?pls help me.

I would just explain to your Doc that you are worried that you haven't conceived yet and ask if they can check out that everything is ok since your ectopic pregnancy.  :)

Hi, if you had a ruptured ectopic then it sounds as if you may only have one fallopian tube.  This does not mean that you won't conceive though.  The fact that you and your husband have managed to get pregnant before means it is unlikely that there is anything wrong with your husbands sperm.

Sometimes it can just take a while, try tracking when you ovulate so you can be sure that you are having intercourse at the most opportune times in your cycle.  

Also speak to your Dr about your concerns as he/she may run some tests to make sure everything is ok.
