Ecosprin 75 mg and progestrone and metformin tablets stopped at 12 weeks?

I am 27 years old.I got married in 2005.I am having pcos problem since my age of 17.I conceived in 2006 april with the help of clomoid tablets.But I miscarried a baby at 15 weeks.Latter on we went for 5 IUI s till may 2009.Again we started femera tablets from oct 2010 to jan 2011.I stopped everything.From 2010 jan I am on metformin 1000mg and folic acid(almost one year).

By god's grace I conceived in Feb 2011.Now I am 14 weeks 2 days pregnant.Till 12 weeks my doctor asked me to use metformin 500mg ,duphaston(progestrone tablets)and ecosprin 75mg and folic acid 400mg till 12 weeks.Now I stopped metformin and ecosprin.Now I am on folic acid and iron,calcium tablets only.

My question is I stopped ecosprin and metformin and duphaston(progestrone).Is it Ok? My doctor told that these tablets enough till 12 weeks.
I am worried please help me.Now I stopped progestrone also

trying43 is correct about the placenta, I too am on progestrone and my doctor said depending on my levels I will be removed off of it at 12 weeks. With that said I am sure your doctor has checked your levels before removing you off the supplements. You sound like you have a wonderful doctor that knows what s/he is doing, I mean afterall they did put you on the supplments. Good Luck! and praying for sticky bean for you.

trying43 is correct about the placenta taking over and how most doctors might overlap the treatments to make sure your levels continue to stay up to maintain the pregnancy.  I know for me I was concerned that with age my progesterone levels had declined which might have been the cause for my prior miscarriage so I took natural progesterone supplements prior to my 12 week mark.  So far so good, as I am almost 20 weeks today :D

By 10 weeks the placenta has formedand takes over progesterone production.  To be safe drs wait till 12 weeks to take u off of it.  All should b ok.  Good Luck to u.

I just saw your post, I unfortunately do not have the answer to this but wanted to check in with you to see how everything was going and to see if you found out any more information on this yourself.  Please do post a follow up :)
