I did let the high risk specialist know what my OB said.Thats when he told me he doesnt see why I cant start trying again after one cycle which I have already had.My OB wantrd me to wait because of the blood I lost.I didnt need any transfusions or anything. All the blood that I did lose came from my placenta which had blood clots in it.Thankyou for all the advice and I will keep it all in my head.I figure when it is meant to happen it will happen.
Hi Shannic,
Since it was your OB who recommended you to this high risk specialist maybe you should talk to the latter and get his reason for him wanting you to hold off on ttc'ing. Let him know what your OB said and vice versa so you have two takes before you decide. I know you'd probably want to ttc as soon as possible - January sounds like eons to anyone who is raring to get pregnant - but, the specialist is a "specialist" after all. Make a list of all your questions so you can make an informed decision instead of taking a doctor's words at face value - and no question is "too dumb" - ask them anything so you won't have to wonder. Good luck - let us know what they said - we might all learn something.
My doctor who I trust with everything told me I can TTC after one cycle. We did so and fell preg immediately. I am not 16 weeks preg with a healthy baby. :) I guess it depends on when your body is ready. I knew I ovulated exactly on day 14 so I figured my body was back to normal. Good luck and follow your heart. One MC does not mean another to follow. Stay positive and know that you will have a healthy little baby in your arms soon enough :) Hugs to you!
I've heard both things before as well. I would say go with the longest theres no harm in that. And i have had a friend on progesterone and shes doing fine now. i have never taken it tho. best wishes.
