Odd pains after miscarriage? Anyone?

I had a blighted ovum and miscarried in June.  My periods came back in July.  I was always like clockwork, and was scared this would change, but it didn't.  I still start around the 28th day.  However, I get these bad stomach pains now, along with regular cramping.  These pains feel like severe gas pressure and I can feel the pressure and pain when I press on my belly or move around.  It is not my normal period cramping, its something else.  It last 2, sometimes 3 days.  I cannot work or do anything during this time.  I've gone to the doctor and she says, it sounds like IBS.??  I told her I didnt think so, but she was quite certain.  But, I don't have any other symptoms except for the gas pressure and maybe some slight constipation issues.    I had an ultrasound and nothing was found.   Has anyone experienced this type of full, gassy pains during their periods?  Note- I only have it during my period.    I really dont think it is IBS and the doctors don't seem to think I should be concerned.  But, I am.  It is ruining my life and will lose my job because I miss work to often.  HELP?   Thank you!

it could be your cysts that you form each month before your period or it could be your ovaries, i had a  lot of pain in my ovaries but only on the right side. I was told it was ovulation or cysts . it has got better but prob. because i dont have periods anymore. hope this helps

So sorry for your loss. I had some cramping after my m/c's - right before my period started.  I think if you feel something is not right - go get a second opinion, or third opinion - whatever it takes because you know your body and if you feel warning signs - do all you can to find out what's wrong.    When they did the u/s - they didn't see any cysts ?  I wonder if that could be the case.  Good luck and I hope this is resolved soon.  Again, so sorry for your loss - we're here to listen if you need a shoulder to lean on.
