Complications after Miscarriage

is anyone here experiencing complications after miscarriage? I had a second MC Dec.2007. Eversince my periods are not as they used to be. they are lighter every month. I barely use 2 pads, and the blood doesn't flow(sorry tmi), oonly when I wipe there is blood. The blood is also more like a watery blood. I have been to numereous doctors, because I am having difficulty getting pregnant, but they all keep telling me it is normal. I am very frustrated. Please help.

Thanks

I didn't do an opk; my doctor just did some bloodwork and other tests.  My periods were VERY irregular, and when he put me on the prometrium things got better IMMEDIATELY.  My doctor said they could do more to find out or we could just try the progesterone.  It worked.  It is possible not to ovulate even if you are having an LH surge.  I agree with bam: think about talking to a specialist.  Also, start tracking your bbt and cm if possible.  If you need anything else, please feel free to message me too.

Are you seeing just a regular ob/gyn?  Depending on your age and prior pg's, if you've been ttc for almost a year now, you may want to look into seeing a Reproductive Endocronologist (sp?).  They are more specialized and can start running tests on DH sperm or more invasive things to see if you are indeed ovulating.  I don't know that an OPK can be a 100% indicator that you are.  Also are you charting BBT, that will add another layer of info, then just relying on an OPK.

Good luck to you!!

Hi Mapes,

Thanks for your response. How did you find out you were not ovulating? my doc says since the OPK shows LH surge that I am ovulating. IS this true?

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through.  Do you know if you are ovulating?  I know in the past I had weird periods when I wasn't ovulating.  The doctor ended up prescribing prometrium, and I got pregnant the next month.  I don't know if this helps, but good luck and feel free to post anytime.  The ladies in here are great!!!
