Question on Miscarriage

Hi Everyone, I am going through my 2nd miscarriage right now :( I have a few questions to ask and wondered if it was the same with anyone else. I was told when I had found out Feb 16 my hcg levels were only 37 which I was immiadtley put on progesterone suppositories (cirone 8%) and baby aspirin. I started bleeding at work Feb 19 and immediately went home as I was passing tissue went in friday and my levels were dropping at 35. So of course another emotional day and very disheartening! This morning I had experienced some brown discharge (TMI) but have to know and it literally looked like caviar coming out it happened in the shower then god but I freaked out my husband said I had turned white, and all day since. I called the RE help line and Doc called me back and said its ok as once the red blood meets air will turn into blown almost tar color and she had said I was having a technical pregnnay which means the egg and sperm met and attached and after it attached then nothing developed into a fetus, fetal pole or any gestional sac and I wont need a D&C as will just pass on its own. I just want to know anyone experience this I didnt mean to be so graphic but unsure how else to put it. Its very emotional and heartbreaking.

I am sorry you're going through this, but it does sound normal. I mcd naturally around 8wks my 1st time and my story is very similar. I hope all goes well at your appt. If you have concerns ask your dr to do an ultrasound & exam to make sure you've passed all the tissue. I know this is a difficult time for you & you've come to the right place for support. Big hugs to you!!!

I am sorry for you loss, I too had a miscarriage at 4 weeks 3 days but I was lucky I didn’t have any of this happen, mine passed on its own and actually mine was lighter then a normal period with a few clots not many…the one thing I would suggest is to rest and drink plenty of fluids.  I know its heartbreaking and I send big hugs and blessings for you and your husband.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I was on the progesterone too, with my last m/c.  I had that same caviar like stuff coming out, and I was told it was from the progesterone...the cream turns like that, and when the bleeding from the m/c starts it tuns red and we discharge it.  I hated it, and I will never use that stuff again.

If you just started bleeding on Feb 19th, then it is probably perfectly natural for you to still be expelling some tissue.  I bled for a total of 6 days w/my natural m/c.  It is very emotional and heartbreaking, especially when you just don't know what to expect or body does weird and different things.  As long as you told your RE you should be fine.  Try to relax (I know impossible) and it will all be over soon enough.
