Trying to stay positive but I am clueless!!

I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and my doctor put me on Metformin in June so that I would ovulate and have regular periods. Then in Oct I found out I was 6 wk 1 d pregnant, according to my LMP. However I went to the doc the nxt week and i measure 5wk 1 d. Two weeks later I went back, which was this past Thursday and the doc told me that she wasn't seeing any growth in the g sac and that she was concerned about miscarriage. So the nxt day she sent me to get an official ultrasound with better equipment and said that they saw the same thing. I haven't had any type of pain or bleeding. I had read a few stories of women who did not see their baby until 9 wks. If this has happened to anyone plz share your stories. I am trying to stay positive but this is my first pregnancy and everyone I talk to has never heard of anything like this.

In this type of situation I'd say hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.  It's always possible that your dates may be off and you're not as far along as you think, but what sounds most worrying to me is that there wasn't any growth in the sac over a two weeks time.  There should have been growth.  When do you go back?  I'll be thinking of you and praying for a good outcome.
