Get another hCG test to be sure the number is zero or near zero, so if you do get pregnant again you will not wonder if it was the old pregnancy and some retained tissue, or a new pregnancy. Wait at least another complete cycle to be sure your uterine lining is back to normal. In other words, wait until you have completed at least one normal-seeming, full period. Also, ask your doctor how long it takes Cytotek to leave your system, or look on their website. The last thing you want to do is have residual Cytotek harm a new pregnancy.
Omg I never even thought of that with the cytotek. Thank you for your response :)
I've had 3 miscarriages, 1 I had a d&c. I didn't wait the full cycle to try again and it didn't end well. I do strongly recommend you have your levels fallowed back down to below 10 preferrebly below 5. I know its really hard but, pregnancy seems to be one big waiting game. I'm so sorry for your loss and wish you the best in the future.
I've heard a lot of conflicting information on this subject, but here is my two cents worth- waiting cant hurt, it will give your body some time to heal. And I don't know anything about cytotek. That being said- I have also been told that the only reason doctors say to wait is so they have a LMP to go off of to determine due date. I personally got pregnant after a miscarriage without having a menstrual period in between and had a very healthy pregnancy- he is now 21 months old. Good luck!
