Want to start right away!!!

My new Dr has told me not to have sex until I come in for a post miscarriage checkup.  I suffered a chemical pregnancy recently and would like to get started right away.  Do I really have to wait until after I get my first period?
If everything goes as planned I will be ovulating this weekend.  Two days before my appt.

hiya hunny,  sorry about your loss im going through the same thing xx

my doctor told me to have at least 1 period before i tried again but he also told me that it was only for dating purposes mainly,  he did say if i felt well enough both physcially and mentally then he saw no reason not to! i waited until the pain and bleeding had stopped fully and now my partner and i are actively trying again.   everyone goes through this differently so i would say do what you feel is right at the time.

goodluck and bestwishes xx

I agree with smr08 about it's your decision. My dr suggested waiting for one period then try but i was trying straight after i stopped bleeding. I ended up having one period anyway but then i got pregnant again. I am now nearly 6 mths pregnant and all seems to be going well. Good luck and ultimately it's your decision.

No one can really tell you what to do, but I would suggest listening to your Dr. They usually tell us to wait for a reason. Some Dr.'s like you to wait a few cycles before TTC again. I know it's a killer to wait, especially when your ready to move forward, been there, done that! LOL Whatever your decision I wish you the best of luck.
