miscarriage

Hi, My name is Manny and I had my last periods on April 06. I had done the blood test and pregnancy test and both the tests are positive. I am around 12 weeks pregnant .On June 24 suddenly It started spotting. I got the brown discharge for 3 days and some spots of black old blood as well. I went to emergency and they did my blood test and ultrasound as well and told me everything is normal , they  said they didn't see any bleeding in uterus and the doctor said there is nothing to worry about. Its now 2 days I didn't get any spotting, no brown discharge but i get fear with a simple pain in stomach and i'm also worried if that spotting will affect my child or if again i will get that spotting and will have miscarriage.
pls help and give some advise.

Have you called your doc? I would suggest you get an U/S just to make sure everything is fine. The doc should also check if your cervix isn't opening or something. If you get better w/ bed rest, then I would suggest you take a sick leave for a couple of days and see if it gets better. Another thing that is common is that you might need supplemental progesterone, I see all the time here ladies taking progesterone. I am sorry I can't help you more...I wish you the best and XSSBD to you!

Thanks Keyan
Yesterday night I again saw very light spotting. I have noticed it happens when I go to work and I do my regular househould work. If I take bed rest I don't get spotting but in order to take maternity leave for 1 year I have to work till december.
. After 12 years I planned to have a baby again(I have a 12 years old daughter) . I need to know if this spotting is result of exersion then I'll quit my job. I am very confused , why this spotting, will it lead to misscarriage, should i just do best rest, will it affect my child, when will it stop?

Some spotting or light bleeding is normal, as strange as it can sounds.I found this on the web, hope it helps you...........Bleeding or "spotting" during pregnancy happens more often than you might think, with up to 25 percent of all pregnant women experiencing it. Spotting –- bleeding that isn't continuous and isn't enough to fill a tampon or pad -- is especially common in the first three months. In many cases there's no cause for alarm, but you should call your doctor whenever you have bleeding during pregnancy -– even if it has stopped by the time you notice signs of it. You'll probably need to go in for an exam to rule out any complications, and to make sure you and your baby are fine..........I hope you feel good soon!
