pregnancy worries

Me and my partner planning for a baby since december 2008, my period date was 29th december 08 but in jan i got my periods after 45 days cycle i.e. on 13th jan 09 and later in feb too i got my periods a week late i.e. on 22nd feb 09......and thereafter i put on weight suddenly and feeling of exhaustion all t time also i had sleepless nights and whenever i get time i used to sleep endless and feel like sleepy whole day but later in march i got my period on 31st march 09............since we stopped using condoms i am having irregular periods...........last time i thought tat i am pregnant........but i got my period ........a week later.......kindly advice me as i am worried whether i will get pregnant and what are the chances of getting pregnant???? After my periods got over on 8th day when i had sex with my partner after i reached orgasm still i dint lubricated at all and my vaginal mouth was too contracted so i had painful intercourse with my partner ...........are there chances of me being pregnant still after i got my periods????? please i need an advice???

Hey I think the best thing you can do is just try to let it happen... I know it is much easier said than done, but by torturing yourself every month you are bringing nothing but stress to your body. If you think you might be pg take a test, but do not test early - it is likely to be false anyway. Believe me I understand what you are feeling - we have been ttc for more than a year and my so long-awaited pregnancy has just ended in m/c. But I am hopeful and feel even stronger now. You have not been trying for too long yet, you should have no worries at this stage of the game. GOOD LUCK!

It's not uncommon to have your period and still be pg. I always have bleeding early in my pgs so bleeding is a very common symptom of being pg. If you still have any questions I would go get your blood drawn. I would also get checked out and find out why your cycles are so long also. Best wishes to you and let me know what happens...
