I did my other thigh tonight and nothing happened. Just a pink circle around it. I wonder if I just didn't have the injector straight last time.
This happened to me as well, early in my treatment. It lessened significantly with time and now, nearly two years later, my injection sites are barely noticeable.
My belly always welts and then takes hours to fade away. Sometimes I can even still see the raised area in the morning (minus any redness). The arms welt a little but no other area seems to (hyper) react like my belly.

I just did my injection about 10 minutes ago and its already welting up and a bit sore. I think some places on your body will welt up more than others. Mine are worse in the legs/thighs. But the good news is the sting will be over in 30 minutes or so and when you get up in the morning you wont even remember it. The redness will probably still be visible, but nothing much else.
So, as Lu just said this is normal and you do get used to it. Thankfully we dont' get the flu-like symptoms from it.
Have a good night.

ok thanks.. hope u r doing fine
Yes, that can be normal for a while until your body gets used to this foreign substance. Try the heat and ice bag tips that everyone shares before and/or after your injection.
Give your body some time to get accustomed to this. It really does get better.
be well,
Lulu
