Eye twitches

I am having the weird experience of the area under my right eye twitching a lot. Sometimes under my left eye too.

Any ideas on what this is?

I am married, not trying to pick up guys, really!  :-)

Eye twitching muscles are VERY common among the general population, as my doctor informs me.  It can be caused by too much caffiene, tobacco or any kind of stimulant.

I can't say that it is directly related to anything that has to do with MS, but hey, I am always learning.

Hm. Where to draw the line between one type of twitch and yet not another. Granted, I have not come across it as something related to MS.

I think the human body is fascinating, if not confusing!

Thanks Elaine! :-)

Hi Suzanne,
Craig suffers from eye twitching too.  However, when he added it to his list of symptoms on his time line at the Cleveland Clinic Mellen Center for MS, the MS neuro looked at him strange and said that eye twitching does not go with MS and it should not have been on the timeline.

She totally discounted it, even though it happened at the appointment and she saw it.

So I  would think twice about mentioning it to Yale!!!!!
